IEC 60227-5 Flexing Test Apparatus For PVC Insulated Flexible Cables Testing PLC Control

The flexing test apparatus is designed and manufactured according to standard SANS /IEC 60227-5 SANS/IEC 60227-2 PAGE 4 of 18 SANS 1574-2 SANS 1574-3 SANS 1574-4 SANS 1574-5 SANS/IEC 5515 etc. It complies with the relevant standard requirements of rubber plastic wires’ and cables’ mechanical strength flexing test.
Features:
The Equipment consists of carrier C, a driving system for the carrier and pulleys.
The pulleys are arranged that the sample is horizontal between them, the carrier distance shall be 1m and move at constant speed of 0.33 m/s.
The equipment can be able to connect 2core, 3core and 4core cables.
The equipment is constructed to be able to detect and stop if there is interruption of the current, short circuit between conductors and short circuit between test sample and the pulleys. It should also be fitted with auto isolation functionalities during faults.
The equipment is able to display cycles during testing and stop when 15 000 cycles are completed. The display can capture and store electronically as a minimum: number of cycles, currents, date & date of start, end or interruption date & time.
